I'm Archana J., a certified natural skincare formulator and the person behind every piece of content on The Beauty Framework. Years before this site existed, I wrote and independently sold a comprehensive skincare guide that reached thousands of readers worldwide. The Beauty Framework is the latest iteration of that work.
My Skin Story
My path into skincare wasn't academic at first. It was personal. At various stages of my life, I have dealt with increasing skin sensitivity, skin bumps, perioral dermatitis, and redness caused by rosacea. The perioral dermatitis alone, with its persistent darkening around the mouth and small bumps that wouldn't clear regardless of what I tried, was something I struggled with for years before I understood what was actually driving it.
That struggle made me a researcher. I trained formally in natural skincare formulation, studying how ingredients actually behave, how they interact with each other, and why some routines work for certain skin types and not others. That training gave me a framework for understanding skin that goes beyond individual products, and it's the foundation of everything on this site.
Why I Built The Beauty Framework
I spent years looking for guidance that was clear, complete, and built around how my specific skin actually behaved. What I needed wasn't more products or more information. It was someone to help me make sense of what I already had, build a routine I could stay with, and know what to do when things didn't go as expected.
That's what this site is for. Every recommendation here is filtered through one question: does this actually make sense for this skin type, this concern, this routine. The goal is to keep it current, keep it honest, and make sure it continues to serve the people using it, whatever their skin needs.
